Bethel pols vow changes in fallout from $500G embezzlement
After Forrest Finlay-Rabchuk, former secretary/treasurer of the Bethel, Pennsylvania township was arrested and charged with embezzling more than $500,000 of township funds, supervisors chairman Michael George reassured residents about new checks and balances to help safeguard the township's funds. These changes include requiring multiple signatures on checks, and if payment is generated or requested by any department within the township, the manager of said department will be responsible for signing off on the payment.
